Zweli Dube is a South African actor, MC, voice artist, and model, best known for playing Pule Mapetla on Muvhango. Born in Johannesburg, he studied journalism at Boston Media House before leaving at 20 to perform in The Lion King, touring Australia and later playing Scar in Hong Kong. His TV debut came in 2009 as Pule on Muvhango. He also worked as a presenter for SABC sports shows and major events, including the 2010 FIFA World Cup and 2011 Africa Cup of Nations. Zweli’s film debut was Kalushi: The Story of Solomon Mahlangu (2016). He later starred in Pastor Bae (2018) and had roles in Agent (2019) and uBettina Wethu, where he played Dingaan Jiyane. He was also the 2018 Miss South Africa voice-over artist.
