Christina Knight is a South African actress and voice artist, a native Afrikaans speaker, and fully fluent in English, and skilled in multiple accents. Was no stranger to the stage when she started her career in acting. Growing up, she was involved in all choir and stage performances in school. She began her professional entertainment career at 18 as a club DJ, and model. Emceeing naturally led her to radio.
In 2007, Christina joined 5FM and had her own late night weekend shows during her time with South Africa’s number one top 40 youth station. Along with her work as an on air personality she was also producing, directing, and editing the station’s first social media videos at the advent of YouTube, Facebook and Instagram. All her expertise culminated in the documentary 5FM – The Rainbow Station.
Christina has been a trusted freelance offline editor since 2015, she is known for solving complex post-production challenges. Her technical understanding of production, combined with her love for perfect performances—often honed by careful analysis during playback—makes her a precise and creative collaborator. Her brave approach to be fully immersed in character coupled with her technical understanding make her an on screen powerhouse.
Her screen credits include Resident Evil (Netflix, 2022) as Ms. Foster, Troukoors: Wedding Fever (2021) as Jana, and appearances on South African series such as Generations: The Legacy and Buurtwag. She has also lent her voice to campaigns including Disney Junior Africa and SABC 3.
